Songs of Innocence

The English poet and printer William Blake first published Songs of Innocence in 1789, hand-etching and hand-coloring each copy. A collection of 19 short, lyrical poems of the Romantic style, 'Songs of Innocence' concerns itself with the naivety, purity and sometimes tragic innocence of youth.
