MT.aps Stress

Squeeze the orange bars to compression test the material shown on screen. The deformation and stress distribution is calculated on the fly and visualised. Material parameters and geometry of the test part can be chosen. Visualisation shows one of either normal or shear stresses or the von Mises yield criterion. Testparts can either slip or stick on the moving orange bars.
