The pizzicato story. Marc and Tracy Frankel started Pizzicato in 1989 – just a little ‘mom and pop' in a tiny location on Portland's west side. That's them in a clipping from the Oregonian way back when. Long-time restaurant editor Karen Brooks wrote a glowing review a few months after Pizzicato opened, and soon lines were forming out the door. Who knew.
