You need to have been specifically invited to install Passively by Ipsos. Within the invitation you will be provided with a ID/Password to participate in the research Ipsos is conducting. This App will NOT work without this code, and you will not be able to participate in the research.

Permissions required by Passively v. 2.2.2

Those that potentially access the user's/ your sensitive information:
  • Get a network access to the approximate location
  • Get an access to the current location from the network-based resources
  • Access phone state without changing it
  • View the user's call log
  • Manage outgoing calls
  • Access SMS messages
  • Manage and record incoming SMS
  • Deliver SMS messages
Permissions rarely used in Tools:
  • Access the user's Internet bookmarks and history without changing them
  • Modify network connectivity state
Commonly used:
  • Access the current list of running apps
  • Access data stored on external storage
  • Prevent device from going to sleep
