Quincy Chamber of Commerce CA

Quincy started as Gold Rush community in 1858, just outside of Elizabethtown. James H. Bradley, one of the organizers of Plumas County, donated the land at Quincy for establishment of the county seat. He then laid out the town and named it after his ranch located in Quincy, Illinois. In 2010, the U. S. Census reported the Quincy population as 1, 728.
